Abstrak

This study aims to determine the water content, oil content and dirt content in the Heavy Phase output of Tricanter. In this study, the tools used to determine the water content, oil content and dirt content were Soxletation extractor, Analytical Balance, porcelain dish, Hot Plate, measuring cup, Drying oven, Spatula, Centrifuge, Thimble, tongs, gloves, funnel, bottom. Flask, hose, Stative. While the material used is the Heavy Phase Tricanter output. The analytical method used in this research is the oven method and the Soxlet extraction method including sampling, calculating water content, oil content and dirt content in the Heavy Phase of the Tricanter output. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the data obtained the average percentage of water content of the Heavy Phase output of Tricanter is 87.88% while the data of the average percentage of oil content of Heavy Phase output of Tricanter is 0.28% and the data percentage of the average level of impurities of Heavy Phase Tricanter's output is 0.020%.
